A laptop in the Oval Office? The Obama campaign employing new proprietary software which literally changed the way Election Day was managed...now and for the foreseeable future? Technology gets tackled in this episode of PoliTalk. In addition, Glenn and Jeff wax poetic about possible cabinet picks, political appointments and the possible uses for $700 billion in bailout money. Wouldn't it be easier if we just cut every taxpayer a check? Can we ever stop talking about Sarah Palin? Not as long as turkeys are getting impaled while she's doing press conferences. What's next, a live moose hunt while talking budget appropriations and subcommittee assignments? Hey, anything for attention. Finally, Glenn and Jeff imagine a future, with your help, hosting a morning political talk show. Remember...Not every informative political discussion has to be boring -- PoliTalk: the podcast where substance meets humor.

Glenn excoriates the Bush Bailout, and explains why bankruptcy isn’t bad for the US auto industry. Jeff, on the other hand, rails against the bankrupt ideas that brought us this economic mess, and wonders what kind of thinking will lead us out? Hilary Clinton for Secretary of State? Is that akin to sending your political opponent on a four-year paid vacation, incredibly adroit politics, sound policy, or a mixture of all three? Why haven’t we heard more about other cabinet positions?...and why that’s a good thing. Finally, we make our annual pilgrimage to the bar of political unrest for our last shot: Synecdoche New York.

On this Election 08 eve, Glenn and Jeff offer their predictions, and their own insights into how to look at results election night. John McCain's first positive TV ad features...Barack Obama? Are you kidding? Did you wonder who would be on the final Meet the Press before the election? Maybe Sarah Palin or Joe Biden? Did you miss it? Glenn and Jeff gleefully re-enact their own Shakespearean drama: Fred Thompson meets Tom Brokaw.  Note to Central Casting: send a bottle of No-Doze to the fellas at PoliTalk. Oh, and they have an interesting little discussion about re-writing a provision in the Constitution of the United States. And Glenn passionately weighs in and boldly declares that he's going to vote for... It's all right here in Episode
